Next week, the fourth round of the Junior FIA ERC – European Rally Championship will be held in the Italian capital, Rome. Swede Mille Johansson is driving the Rally Coppa Città di Lucca outside Pisa this Sunday as a warm-up for the year’s first JERC-event on asphalt.
– The idea with this rally is to get into the asphalt driving before Rome, as it is quite different from gravel. We also have a brand new pace note-system for us, which we believe will help us moving forward. The goal will be to find a good feeling in the car, which we will then build on in Rome, says Mille Johansson.
Mille, together with co-driver Johan Grönvall, competes for the Slovenian team IK Sport in a two-wheel drive Ford Fiesta Rally4. In the Rally Coppa Città di Lucca, there are seven cars in the Rally4 class, and the competition is decided over six stages of 60 km.
