17-year-old rally driver Mille Johansson from Sweden, together with co-driver Johan Grönvall, have been selected to represent the Swedish Automobile Sports Federation’s national team in 2023. As Mille and Johan are about to make their debut season in the FIA ERC Junior-championship.

– I am happy to announce that I am part of the Swedish National Team in motorsport in 2023. It is a goal I have had that has now been achieved, and it is a confirmation that what we are doing is right. I’m looking forward to getting our ERC-season started, says national team driver Mille Johansson.

Mille and Johan will represent the Swedish Automobile Sports Federation’s national team when they compete internationally in 2023. The national team, which is supported by the National Sports Confederation, helps a number of individuals who compete at a high level in motorsport with an individually tailored plan with physical and mental training, contract assistance and joint camps in order to develop the athletes. In addition to the national team in rally, to which Mille and Johan belong, there are also a large number of practitioners in crosscart, karting, racing and rallycross with names such as Rallycross World Champion Johan Kristoffersson, Indy 500 winner Marcus Ericsson and Mille’s teammate in GN Motorsport, Pontus Tidemand.

National team drivers may also represent Sweden in team competitions such as the FIA Motorsport Games, Motorsport’s own Olympics.

Mille and Johan start their FIA ERC Junior season on May 20-21 in Poland.
